Hello there, I'm Torstein 👋
I'm a technical lead and fullstack developer with over 15 years building Android and iOS apps, and more recently diving deep into Go microservices and DevOps. Based in beautiful Bergen, Norway, I'm a developer, husband, dad to three amazing kids, and someone who gets genuinely excited about clean code and well-architected systems.
These days I'm working as a developer at Ditio, but for the past two years I've been deep in the world of Go, DevOps, GitOps, and Kubernetes. There's something really satisfying about building distributed systems that scale beautifully and deploy themselves, you know?
I've been doing this for over a decade now, working my way up from consultant to technical lead at places like TV 2 Norway and Tieto Evry. Got my degree from the University of Bergen back in the day, and I'm always learning something new. When I'm not coding, you'll probably find me with my family or tinkering with smart home automation - because apparently I can't stop automating things!
