Terms of Service for PadelIQ

Agreement
By downloading or using PadelIQ: AI Match Analysis ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The app is operated by Torstein Skulbru, Norway ("we", "us").
Training Feedback, Not Professional Coaching
PadelIQ provides automated positioning analysis and training suggestions generated from computer-vision tracking of your match videos. This feedback is for training and self-improvement purposes only. It is not:
- Professional coaching, and no coach reviews your footage
- A guarantee of improvement or of any particular sporting result
- Medical, physiotherapeutic, or fitness advice
Statistics are approximate by nature — computer vision tracks positions from ordinary phone footage, and accuracy varies with filming conditions. Use the numbers to spot patterns, not as precise measurements.
Physical Activity
The drills suggested by the app involve physical exercise. You perform them at your own risk. Consider your own fitness and health, warm up properly, and consult a doctor if you are unsure whether an exercise is appropriate for you.
Filming Responsibility
You are responsible for the videos you record and analyze: filming only where it is permitted, following your club's rules and local law, and informing the people who appear in your footage. Your videos are processed on your device and are never uploaded to us; see the Privacy Policy for details. Only analyze footage you have the right to use.
Subscriptions and Purchases
PadelIQ offers an optional subscription, PadelIQ Pro, billed by Apple through your App Store account:
- PadelIQ Pro (annual) — auto-renewing yearly subscription with a 3-day free trial. You are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- PadelIQ Pro (monthly) — auto-renewing monthly subscription, charged at purchase
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your device Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Prices are shown in the app before any purchase, including the per-month equivalent of the annual plan and the exact trial charge date. Refunds are handled by Apple; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Fair Use
The AI-worded coaching verdict has a real per-request cost. Reasonable use limits may apply to keep the service sustainable. Attempting to abuse the verdict service or access it outside the app is prohibited.
Content and Intellectual Property
The app's software, design, drill library, and generated analyses are our work. Your match videos remain yours. You may share heatmaps and analysis cards using the app's share feature for personal, non-commercial use.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including decisions made based on its analysis. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms. Changes are reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. EU/EEA consumers retain the protections of their local consumer law.
