BuzzBlast ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our quiz buzzer and soundboard application.

BuzzBlast is designed with privacy in mind:

  • We don't require user accounts
  • We don't access your contacts or photos
  • We don't track your location
  • All app functionality works offline

Analytics and Crash Reporting

To improve the app experience, we use the following services:

Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage patterns. This includes:

  • Which sounds are most popular (anonymized)
  • App launch frequency
  • Feature usage statistics
  • Device type and OS version

This data is anonymized and aggregated. We cannot identify individual users from this information.

Firebase Crashlytics

We use Firebase Crashlytics to identify and fix app crashes. When the app crashes, it may send:

  • Device model and OS version
  • App version
  • Crash stack traces
  • Anonymous installation UUID

In-App Purchases

BuzzBlast offers premium sound packs through in-app purchases. Purchase processing is handled by:

  • Apple App Store for iOS devices
  • Google Play Store for Android devices
  • RevenueCat for purchase management

We don't store payment information. All transactions are processed securely by the respective platform providers.

Advertising

BuzzBlast uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect certain information as outlined in Google's Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings:

  • iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Personalized Ads
  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

Data Storage

All app preferences and settings are stored locally on your device. This includes:

  • Selected sounds
  • Volume preferences
  • Purchase status

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly back up your device using iOS or Android backup services.

BuzzBlast is suitable for all ages. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app doesn't require any personal information to function.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there's no personal information to access, modify, or delete. You can:

  • Delete the app at any time to remove all local data
  • Disable analytics collection in your device settings
  • Opt out of personalized ads as described above

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
