Getting Started

How do I draw my daily card?

Open the app, set an intention if you like (or skip it), and tap the deck. It shuffles, cuts, and deals your card — tap the card to turn it over. One card per day; it resets at midnight.

What's the difference between the daily card and a spread?

The daily card is a quick one-card reflection. A spread lays several cards on the table — past/present/future, a decision, love — and reads them together as one story, written for your specific question.

I'm new to tarot. Where do I start?

The Library tab has a short primer that explains how tarot works as a reflection tool, plus plain-language meanings for all 78 cards. You don't need to know anything to start — every reading explains its cards.

Readings

My personalized reading says "pondering" or failed. What happened?

Personalized readings are written live by an AI service. If your connection drops or the service is briefly busy, the app shows the traditional card meanings instead, with a retry button for the personalized version. Your draw is never lost.

Is there a limit on readings?

Generated readings have daily fair-use limits because each one has a real cost. The traditional card meanings are always available, offline, without limits.

Palm Reading

How do I get a good palm scan?

  • Use bright, even light — near a window works well
  • Hold your palm flat, fingers slightly apart, filling the frame
  • The app guides you and captures automatically when the shot is good

You can also pick an existing photo from your library.

Where do my palm photos go?

They're stored only on your iPhone. Generating a reading sends the photo through our server to the AI service and it is immediately discarded — never stored, never shareable. Details in the Privacy Policy.

Purchases & Subscriptions

What's free and what's paid?

The daily card and your first full spread reading are completely free. Arcana Plus unlocks unlimited spread readings and personalized palm readings. Deck editions are one-time purchases you keep forever.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open your device Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions → Arcana, and tap Cancel. You keep access until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I restore my purchases?

On the paywall or in the app's settings, tap "Restore Purchases" while signed into the same Apple Account you bought with.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all payments and refunds: visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Data & Privacy

How do I delete my data?

Everything — journal, palm photos, streaks — lives on your device. Deleting the app deletes it all. There is no account and no server-side profile.
